As an alternative to the more delicate rose cupcakes , these riche chocolate truffle and liqueur cupcakes make an indulgent Valentine's present . We have suggested champagne truffles to decorate but almost any variety of truffle would work equelly well.
Make the chocolate cupcakes in the usual way, but only 90 ml
milk and mix with the framboise .
When the cupcakes are completely cool,ice them with the
chocolate buttercrean icing ,then place a champagne truffle
in the centre of each one. Press down gently so that the truffle
does not roll off.

1 batch of chocolate cupcakes
2 tablespoons framboise
To decorate
1 batch of chocolate buttercream
16 champagne truffles
